Takamine Gs330s. In fact, the Breedlove and the Takamine are very similar in many ways. Both have laminated wood sides and both have solid tops, though the Takamine sports a solid cedar top instead of the Breedlove’s solid spruce top, something that gives it a slightly sweeter tone.

No matter if your playing style runs towards flat-picking or fingerpicking, you’ll find that the Breedlove D200/SMP adapts itself well to either style of play. And while its clarity is not as pronounced as its solid body brothers and sisters, for an instrument with a laminated body, this guitar does very well indeed.
