The C7 diminished 5th chord is a seventh chord created by taking the root, major third, diminished fifth and minor seventh. The C7dim5's formula is 1 3 b5 b7, or notes C E Gb Bb. This chord is also called the "dominant seventh flat five" and is often used in jazz music.
