Fsharp6 Guitar Chord

Alternative Names: F#maj6, F#6, Gb6, Gbmaj6, Gflat6

Fsharp6 Guitar Chord

Free printable guitar chord chart...right click on diagram and select 'Print Picture...'

How is the F#6 (or Fsharp6 guitar chord) contructed? The sixth note of the F# major scale is (D#), so an F#6 chord will simply be the F# major triad (F#, A#, C#) plus the sixth note (D#). Said differently, an F#6 chord is made up of intervals 1 3 5 6, or notes F# A# C# D#.

This F#6 or F#maj6 chord is not the same as the "F#6 Power Chord". The F#6 Power Chord, not shown here, contains only 2 notes; F# (root) and D# (6th note); intervals 1 and 6.
