Ibanez Acoustic Guitar: IJV30 Quickstart ¾ Size Acoustic Guitar Pack

by Guitar Guru
(play-acoustic-guitar.com)

”Cheap Beginner Guitar Pack for Smaller Players”

The Ibanez IJV30 Quickstart ¾ Acoustic Guitar Pack is a great choice for the beginner acoustic guitar player who wants to learn on a steel string dreadnought styled body, but who finds the larger dreadnoughts just too large to handle.

This ¾ sized dreadnought model guitar will give the beginner guitar student the overall sound and feel of a dreadnought without having to adapt to the much bigger guitar. It is also a great acoustic guitar for those guitarists with smaller fingers or slighter builds who would like to play a dreadnought but can’t handle the full sized instruments.

What makes this guitar great for beginners, however, isn’t just the deep, rich tone of a dreadnought made from a spruce top and agathis back and sides; rather, it also comes with a modest (not well-padded) gig bag to help protect your instrument and an electronic tuner to keep your guitar in tune.

You’re going to need the electronic tuner, for seeing as that this little instrument doesn’t have a solid top, it does tend to go out of tune fairly quickly. It also gets rather mushy if you try to play it too aggressively. In fact, you will probably have to re-tune it at the start of every playing session, but that is what the electronic tuner is for!

The sound of this little instrument is good enough, however, that you won’t mind having to re-tune it every time you sit down to play! At just ~$119 you’ll get everything that you need to start playing, including a good looking and good sounding guitar that will keep you enthusiastic about learning how to play!
