When choosing beginner sheet music for acoustic guitar, there is often a trade-off between ease-of-playing and the resemblance of the arrangement to the original song. For true beginners, select songbooks that include chord charts, strumming patterns, and arrangements that involve few chords. While the songs may not sound exactly like the original recording, you will advance your playing technique and move more quickly to the next level if you have some early successes.
