Epiphone Acoustic Guitar: EJ-200

”Sweet Mellow Sound at a Sweet Mellow Price”

The Epiphone EJ-200 is an incredible value for the price. At just ~$399, this curvy beauty has all the appeal of the Gibson J-200 Jumbo without requiring that you go into debt to enjoy it!

Built on a Jumbo body, the EJ-200 is made with a select spruce top and maple back and sides giving it a sweet, mellow sound with woody overtones that project and sustain beautifully due to the width of the EJ-200’s sound box. Plus this jumbo is aesthetically appealing with its attention to detail, especially in the inlaid mustache bridge.

While the EJ-200 may be a big guitar, its curvy shape lets it fit itself to your body neatly in such a way that even smaller players should be able to manage it without too much problem. Yet, if flatpicking is your style of choice, you may have to adjust the strings to something heavier, as the EJ-200 can sound a bit ‘twangy’ if it is too aggressively strummed or picked.

At just $399, the EJ-200 is an incredible value for the price. And while it may be a cheap acoustic guitar when it comes to price, you will not find it wanting when it comes to quality of craftsmanship or playability. Buy an

Bling!
by: Graham

Lotsa 'Bling' for your buck! This gal is all dolled up! Maple will give clear sharp tones. Remember, if it doesn't state 'solid' spruce top, it's a laminate, so don't expect miracles, but she sure is pretty!
