The GG's comment on the Epi AJ 1, is right on the dot! These were cheap,albeit PRETTY, laminate guitars which looked 'way better than they sounded....If you were looking for an attractive campfire guitar, this was it...body binding, abalone, and all!! G

David - While this guitar is no longer in production, it is still available for sale USED at
Guitar Center for $79. It's made with a laminate spruce top, and I believe it was manufactured in Asia.

It's an attractive, cheap guitar.
