Michael Fix is a contemporary acoustic guitarist and composer from Australia whose work has made it onto my favorite song list. His repertoire includes Jazz, blues, Celtic, Australian Folk, County and Classical as well as many of his compositions. Stringin the Blues is one of his own compositions, and one that puts me into a near trance as I listen to it. You can feel the energy that he puts into all his work. When you watch him play it is as if he becomes the music. But his love for his instrument is never as clear as when he is performing one of his own pieces, such as Stringin the Blues.
